I absolutely loved the decoration of Old Castle Oia. The hotel had a charming and elegant vibe, with its beautiful furniture and artwork. The general areas, such as the lobby and dining area, were also tastefully decorated and created a cozy atmosphere. As a senior woman, I particularly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff was always available to assist me with any mobility issues, and there were no stairs to climb or steep inclines that would pose a challenge. It made my stay comfortable and convenient.

The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working at the hotel to provide more assistance and guidance. Although they were friendly, sometimes I felt that they could have been more attentive to the needs of senior guests and offered more support throughout their stay.

I stayed at Old Castle Oia and booked their popular suite. Let me tell you, it was the epitome of luxury living! The master bedroom with a cozy queen-size bed made me feel like royalty. The tastefully decorated sitting area was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And oh, the private terrace with a Jetted tub was pure bliss! I lounged there, soaking in the stunning views of Santorini. It was a dream come true!

To be honest, the only thing I didn't fully enjoy was the 65 steps leading to the suite. But hey, it's my subjective opinion, and I can understand how others might find the journey up the steps adventurous and exciting.

Additionally, the pool area could be seen by people walking up from the harbor, but a couple more blocks on the wall would provide more privacy.

the hotel we chose was perfectly located, with breathtaking views of the sunset and a stunning pool and jacuzzi. the staff were friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. There were issues with the daily room service, and we often had to clean up after ourselves at breakfast. Despite this, the overall experience was amazing.

Old Castle Oia Villa was the perfect place to stay in Santorini. the location above Ammoudi Bay provided uninterrupted views of the sunset. We enjoyed sipping on complementary Prosecco on our private terrace while watching the sunset. the staff, particularly Bianca at the front desk, was friendly and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean. We loved having a private jacuzzi and sun loungers. the view from our bedroom window was absolutely incredible, and the rose petals added a lovely touch for our honeymoon.

The hotel also provided helpful assistance with our luggage.
